Photo: Fremlin Walk, Maidstone

Today’s shot is of Fremlin Walk, a pedestrian only shopping street in Maidstone, Kent (South East UK).

I’ve walked past this spot many time in the last couple of weeks and only recently have the Christmas lights gone up. I thought it looked nice before the lights, but after seeing this lit up at night, I decided I must come back and get a shot at night. ‘Night’ here in southeast UK is just after 4pm at the moment so it worked out a little too well. I spent the day at a coffee shop catching up on the world and then came outside to darkness.

Hope you like!

Photo: Covent Garden, London

Here’s my next shot of Covent Garden taken on Saturday evening. I liked the close up shot I took of the reindeer in my previous post, but I also wanted to showcase the buildings surrounding Covent Garden, the atmosphere and also my vantage point where I took the photo.

This is also a 5x shot HDR, processed in enfuse and Lightroom 5.

Next up is a shot from winter wonderland in Hyde Park… Keep an eye out 🙂
