Alrighty, I’ve finally finished sorting and processing my shots from Grange Over Sands and the Lake District. I didn’t get out as much as I had hoped due to bad weather, but I still got some nice shots which I hope you’ll enjoy.
Consider this post to be 1 of 2. This will highlight Grange Over Sands, whilst my next post will be focussed on the Lakes themselves and the mountainous countryside.
Grange Over Sands is a small town that was once a small fishing village and has been a popular tourist destination ever since a train line was established. It’s located at the mouth of the River Kent, which once flowed past the town promenade. The river has altered course over the years and now the promenade has become a lush meadow covered by tides that sheep occasionally graze (pictured below).
